Hotel International Zagreb received "PKU Friendly Hotel" certificate

Phenylketonuria (PKU) is an inherited metabolic disorder that occurs due to congenital defects in the complex mechanism of the amino acid phenylalanine. Therefore, all people with PKU are subjected to a lifelong strict low protein diet.
Croatian Association phenylketonuria, a non-profit association that is, since 1990, continuously working in order to improve life quality for families with phenylketonuria and help with various problems that families stricken with phenylketonuria are dealing with.

This Saturday, 11th April, Hotel International Zagreb obtained the PKU Friendly hotel status and certificate. Certificate and status of a PKU friendly hotel are given to insure that a person may, with a prior announcement to the hotel, ask for and consume meals, prepared according to strict rules of PKU dietary standards in all HUP-ZAGREB hotels.
