Their performance is highly moving and spectacular and during two-hour drumming you can hear and see 10 powerful drummers who drums on over 50 different drums.
The drums are made of 400 years old wood and the largest of them weighs nearly 500 kilograms and is 2 meters high. The sound of the drum, that bears the name Odaiko, is compare with the sound of a strong athlete heart and its rhythm is literally breathtaking. Scenery, costume design and outstanding performance fascinate millions of people around the world and after every performance can hardly wait for re-experience of Yamato.
